RR air conditioning units can be supplied in two different versions:

The air conditioner without the Free-cooling module is CONVENTIONAL type: the cooling air is taken from the UPPER side and sent fromto DOWN side of the air conditioner.
The air conditioners are equipped with internal controller and temperature and pressure probes allowing the implementation of an autonomous conditioning systems and assuring a complete redundance of all the control and conditioning functions.

The electronics is provided with real time clock. The unit is equipped with remote PLC display for visualization of parameters, states and alarms.

In addition the unit can be equipped with serial RS232/485, Ethernet of GSM/GPRS card in order to allow communication with external equipment.

ACUS-F Series conditioners have been designed to cool crane control cabins: every component has been designed, selected and placed to satisfy all the needs of control cabins, to simplify the access to the internal parts and to minimize the maintenance.

The units must be installed on the floor, on horizontal surfaces and are equipped with air flows channeling fittings. The position of the fittings (INLET AND OUTLET AIR) must be agreed when ordering.

The conditioners are provided with a control panel which allows the setting of the temperature and of other parameters.

The conditioners can be provided with a COES device which guarantees the working continuity also in case of short temperature peaks up to 80°C; in addiction they can be supplied with an electrical heater for electrical panel heating, allowing to work properly up to external temperature of -40°C.

Description

CU_ALX series are internal packaged-type, ideal for the cooling of applications electrical boards and similar items for indoor applications. They are designed to be positioned on the external wall of the cabinet.

These units work according to the cooling cycle direct expansion, so heat transfer is performed by a fluid (refrigerant) that acquires sensible heat through the evaporator coil and removes it through the condenser coil, which are parts of the sealed refrigerant circuit.

The fluid is driven by a electric motor-compressor unit. The evaporator coil is directly facing the cabinet internal, while the condenser coil faces the external room. The STANDARD basic version is equipped with analogic temperature regulation with range 25°C/35°C, ON-OFF switch and a protection fuse.

On request the series can be equipped with electronic temperature controller (CU_ALXC).

Description

CU030ORZ ACU is packaged type, designed and manufactured to cool electrical enclosures and similar items. Very compact and light, it is designed to be positioned horizontally on the external walls of the enclosure; such a shape makes it suitable for being installed also on doors and hinged panels.

The ACU is purposely designed to allow several types of installation:

EXTERNAL MOUNTING: the ACU is mounted externally on the wall of the electrical enclosure. The advantage of this configuration is that you have no room lost in the enclosure’s internal.

INTERNAL MOUNTING: the ACU is mounted internally on the wall of the enclosure. The advantage of this configuration is that the room required externally is reduced to the dimensions of the plastic grille.

EMBEDDED MOUNTING: this mounting configuration is ideal in those situations where the solution is between the two above. For this mounting configuration a kit with frames, screws, washers and plugs is available upon order.

Electrical connection with IEC cable connector and IEC panel-mounted plug, with switch and fuse protection.

CU030ORZ features forced-air-circulation evaporator and condenser, with radial fans, to improve performances and to provide an even temperature’s distribution in the enclosure’s internal.

The system of air EXTRACTION with “Settling Chamber” has to assure continuous air exchanges, its main aim is to transfer externally the heat dissipated by the equipment in the radio base stations and Data Processing Centre.

This happens thanks to the combined operation of the air extraction and the settling chamber (inlet air).

The settling chamber can be installed externally or internally, in according with the typology of the installed air conditioners and with the space available inside the local.

Built to be installed on roof-top of electrical enclosures, their shape makes them suitable for many other applications; the units are also equipped with very ef f icient condensate draining systems.

They work according to the principle of the reversed Rankine cycle, so heat transfer is performed by a fluid (refrigerant) that acquires sensible heat through the evaporator coil and removes it through the condenser coil, which are parts of the sealed refrigerant circuit.
The fluid is driven by a electric motor-compressor unit.
The evaporator coil is directly facing the enclosure internal, while the condenser coil faces the external room.

The CU_ROOF Series ACUs are small sized and take no room sideways the enclosure.

The VFC series air extraction system is composed by one or more centrifugal fans extracting the exhaust air from the internal environment and by a PLC controlling the entire working cycle and managing and generating the related alarm conditions.

This system when coupled with an Ethra Tech air conditioner can be managed by the same air conditioner controller, without need for a dedicated PLC.

Packaged air-to-air air conditioning units, designed and manufactured to work in industrial environments, in presence of dust and vibrations and exposed to high temperature.

CUS Series conditioners have been designed to cool electrical enclosures and containers: every component has been, selected and placed to satisfy all the needs of these environments, to simplify the access to the internal parts and to minimize the maintenance.

The units must be installed on the floor, on horizontal surfaces; the air is taken from and sent to the environment to cool through ducts and insulated flexible tubes.

The conditioners are provided with two thermostats, both placed on the electrical panel, which allow the setting of the temperature of the environment to be cooled.

The conditioners can be provided with a COES device which guarantees the working continuity also in case of short temperature peaks up to 80°C; in addiction they can be supplied with an electrical heater for warming the cabin, allowing to work properly up to external temperature of -40°C.

The air conditioners are equipped with internal controller and temperature and pressure probes, that allow to get an independent or coordinated “cooling system”, assuring a complete redundance of all the control and conditioning functions.

The air conditioners are provided with remote interface user panel for the manage of commands and controls, complete with disconnectors, with internal electrical protection for overcurrent. Due to their mechanical characteristics, all the indoor units can be installed adjacent even with different cooling capacities.

This equipment is provided with free-cooling (FCUP). In case of need for ducting the free-cooling module, on request it can be provided a ducting diam. 250mm (L max 5mt) and an external grid equipped with plenum on the air inlet side. The FCUP module is a separated element from the indoor unit and its mechanical characteristics make it particularly flexible in terms of positioning and installation.
